If there's one thing I've learned from decades of following the inner voice like it was my trusted gps - all the while supporting countless women and men to find and pursue their heart's callings - it's that the more we lean in and go for it - the richer the life. The happier the individual. And the more freedom we unlock.
There is no substitute for a life lived from true, heart desire.
You can try to suppress the inner voice, but that will surely lead to stagnancy, discomfort, and sometimes even disease. You can try to live a life according to someone else's manual, realizing other people's dreams, and doing what's expected of you. But that will gradually burn you out. Deplete you of the very life force that was designed for you to fulfill your dreams with.
